KTL Sports Floors wanted to update their catalogue material and website to make them both more modern and recipient-oriented. At the same time, it was important that the two had a consistent look and feel, as one of the purposes of the catalogue was to direct people to the website.
”It was a challenge to run the catalogue and website in parallel at the same time. But Mr. Toucans created a design that worked both in the catalogue and in the virtual part. At the same time, they provided some good insights into the user journey. Task description
KTL Sports Floors approached Mr. Toucans with a desire to make their marketing material more contemporary. This involved:
- give it a new design that exudes professionalism and credibility
- adapt language and content to the recipient
- build the website with the option of showcasing the company's prestigious projects
Until now, KTL Sports Floors has been responsible for its website and marketing materials, but with varying degrees of success:
”We don't have those skills in our company. There were far too many technical specifications in our catalogue. It was too technical and too overwhelming. Mr. Toucans has provided some good insights into the user journey. We now have a brochure and a website where the technical specifications don't overshadow the message: that we make really good sports flooring.”

Result
Now KTL Sports Floors can confidently send potential customers to its website. It gives the impression of a professional company that can also handle large projects. In this way, the company has been able to build credibility around its profile, among other things by showcasing previous projects.
”The website has meant that if anyone had any doubts about whether we could deliver, they no longer do.” Ole Slott explains.
Ole and KTL Sports Floors have also gained a tool for future marketing in the form of the reports provided by Mr. Toucans. This gives an impression of who is visiting the website, which is useful, says Ole Slott.
He also highlights the excellent sparring he has received at Mr. Toucans.
”We haven't always agreed. But Mr. Toucans has a good grasp of the commercial side of things and has engaged in constructive discussions with us. The result is well thought out.”
