When engineering firm Trafitec finally got a new website, it gave them the peace of mind and energy to focus on their core competencies.

For several years, traffic on the roads had taken focus away from traffic on the website, which had gradually come to a standstill.
“We had been thinking for years that we should update our website, but without doing much about it – because what would it cost, and who would do it?” asks Puk Kristine Andersson.
Trafitec's website was 19 years old when an opportunity arose to do something about the old website.
“It was a bit funny, because Mr. Toucans contacted us out of the blue. But it sounded exciting, the price was reasonable, and the employees were competent, so we said yes.” says Puk Kristine Andersson.
Mr Toucans was tasked with creating a modern website that would strengthen Trafitec's credibility and make it easier to be a customer and employee of Trafitec.

Task description
One of Trafitec's wishes was to make it easier to find relevant publications. Therefore, Mr. Toucans created a filtering function that allows users to search by topic and specific keywords. This makes it easier for visitors to find publications that may be of interest to them among the more than 200 notes and reports available on the website.
Another requirement for the website was that Trafitec should be able to update it with text and images themselves.
“We got exactly what we wanted,”, says Puk Kristine Andersson with a smile.
Result
At Trafitec, both road traffic and website traffic are now under control. All the requirements for the website have been met. First and foremost, this means that it has become easier for users to find relevant reports on the website. But it also means that Trafitec can maintain and update the company's website itself.
“We can easily add content ourselves; edit texts, make additions and upload images. We wanted to be able to add large images to our website, and now we can.”, explains Puk Kristine Andersson.
The engineering company is, in its own words, very pleased with the result, and the website has also received praise from visitors.
