We support sustainable forestry and make a real and positive contribution to the fight against climate change.
We have partnered with EcoTree to carry out a number of green initiatives on our behalf, such as sustainable forest management and the restoration of ecosystems, including wetlands, grasslands and peatlands.
We have become forest owners
We have purchased a huge quantity of trees.
As our core competencies do not lie within forest management, we have teamed up with forestry experts who assist us with, among other things:
- conducting forestry diagnostics, soil surveys and forestry plans
- preparing the soil and planting trees
- monitoring and sustainable management of our forests
We have planted 145 trees
We have purchased a large number of trees in a variety of forests across Europe. In addition, we have entered into an agreement to purchase more new trees every month. Most of our trees are located in Kalundborg Forest, but we also have trees in the Montplonne, Ajoux and Guiscriff forests in France.
We bind 3,625 tonnes of CO₂ per year
We have taken active steps to achieve net zero (CO₂-neutral). Our approach to carbon sequestration helps biodiversity thrive and improves local ecosystems. Our CO₂ reduction is based on sustainable forestry, peatland restoration and biochar production across Europe. We have chosen to invest in forests that will continue to sequester carbon for many decades to come.

We support the UN's Sustainable Development Goals
Our trees help to bind CO₂ and promote biodiversity. We actively help the planet by working towards the UN's sustainable development goals and contributing to the fight against climate change.
