New data-driven website secures MedTrace a place in the global scientific community.

Goals & challenges

MedTrace is not well known in Denmark, nor does it need to be. However, it is important that MedTrace appears high up in search engine results when specialists and researchers around the world search for specific keywords, because international collaboration on development and clinical trials is crucial to the company's success.

Mr. Toucans’ report on MedTrace's website at the time showed that there were challenges with GDPR, SEO, and security. Therefore, the task was to create a website that meets today's requirements, both in terms of SEO and security.

Task description

MedTrace wanted an effective website that works as it should and provides value. In this regard, Martin Stenfeldt, founder and CEO of MedTrace, believes that Mr. Toucan's data-driven approach to websites is unique.

”The most important thing for us was to have a website based on concrete, quantitative and continuous knowledge about what actually works. This is much more important than a beautiful design, which in the worst case can mean that the website functions less well.”, he says.

Result

The first meeting with Mr. Toucan resulted in a concrete offer for a new website. The offer was clear, easy to understand and divided into a basic package and some additional services. Since the agreement was signed, MedTrace's contribution to the new website has been quite clear.

”Mr. Toucans presented us with a mock-up that required only a few adjustments. Our existing content has been largely reused, but now in an SEO structure. All in all, it has been an easy project for us because we have found a supplier with a highly developed ability to execute.”, elaborates Martin.

The collaboration between MedTrace and Mr. Toucans has continued after the launch of the new website. This includes an agreement on hosting, GDPR, SEO and ongoing technical optimisation of the website. In addition, Mr. Toucans ensures ongoing monitoring of whether the website is performing as it should and whether it continues to comply with GDPR and cookie rules, among other things.

When MedTrace is ready to launch products and start selling, the website can also support this, as it has a modular structure. This gives MedTrace a long-lasting and flexible website solution that requires minimal involvement on their part.
